Open Source version of Zimbra based on 9.0.X branch of GPLv2 source from Zimbra as located at https://github.com/Zimbra which is licensed from Synacor, Inc. under these terms.
The aim of this project is to provide binaries based on the Zimbra source code to our customers.
The binaries are already in place at a number of our customers.
Zimbra and FOSS
Zimbra have the following licence :
- GPLv2 zimbra backend
- CPAL for old front end
- Closed licence for new UI : will not be available in this build

Zimbra 10.1 is the latest version of Zimbra, binaries for the solution can be supplied under a contract with BeeZim.
